Members of SHMB playing in two bands tonight at the The Glad Cafe - Withered Hand will have Pete and Fraser in it and De Selby will have Albi, Pete, Ross and Rich. You know, if you are in to celebrity spotting.

Hello pals, this Friday we are meeting up to hopefully finish all the recording for our album! Then we just have to get someone to release it, fnar!

A few of us (almac, sophie, rich, pete, ross) play in Brass, Aye?, a community brass group started by Rich. We have our first birthday gig tomorrow at Kinning Park Complex in Glasgow. Come along for lots of great music including Samba Ya Bamba and a barbershop quartet!!!

We played along with Withered Hand last year a few times. This was one of the favourites. Nice'n'sleazy, bearded Albi, sophie's awesome specs, parps from the brasses and woodwinds up the back, everyone singing. Loverly.

Our first album is about 90% done! It's only taken 4 years! Thirteen songs, six different singers, seventeen instruments, 16 background singers.
